Area Maintenance Technician

Duties

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment, residential appliances and commercial building systems
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
Assist with projects including painting, power washing, and general cleaning
Repair HVAC systems and perform preventative maintenance on units
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor

Experience/requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
Preferred- HVAC experience and EPA certification.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with residents and management team.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal – Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and management team.
Good driving record
Ability to work independently

As an Area Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the property assets are taken care of. You will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly. A company van is included equipped with tools. The driving range is between Palm Beach and Broward County.

Porter/Groundskeeper Vizcaya Lakes / Boynton Beach

This position is responsible for cleaning projects requiring training and demonstrated skill. Must be able to lift heavy objects. Inspects work performed in assigned building/property(s) and submits reports to the Supervisor.

Position requires weekend work (schedule is 730am-4pm ). Work consists primarily of outdoor work throughout the property.

Responsibilities
(May include some or all of the following as applicable)

Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, bulk trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.

Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance to OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.

Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning.

Responsible to move trash dumpsters in and out on designated trash days.

Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and assigned equipment in good working condition.

Minor painting of walls, doorways and curbs.

Change light bulbs or other minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Pressure wash walkways, buildings and other property using power washing equipment.

Ensures that security procedures are adhered to at all times.

Maintains professional working relationship with building staff.

Completes daily work orders as scheduled.

Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing duties in accordance with OSHA.

Any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
